hab mich schon lang nicht mehr getraut
um mich rum dicke mauern gebaut

grau in grau alles wie bisher
die strassen sind zwar breiter
doch genauso menschenleer

it's been a long time i didn't dare

grey in grey, everything as usual
the streets are broader, but exactly as deserted as before
i look around and i get afraid
everywhere they put concrete
emty eyes look at me
i run away as fast as I can
enough, i'm fed up, I call it a try
